About the Role
We’re building ChooseMe - a gamified social platform where people connect through real-time experiences like Go, Vibe, and Now.
This is a 0→1 role. You will shape the entire product experience from the ground up.
We’re looking for a product designer who thinks deeply, simplifies aggressively, and designs for real user behavior - not just aesthetics.
What You Will Be Doing
You will design the core user experience across onboarding and the main features of the product. Your focus is to ensure that a user can open the app and instantly understand what to do.
You will take rough ideas and turn them into clear flows, wireframes, and final designs that are intuitive and ready to build. You will continuously refine these based on real user behavior, working closely with the founder to iterate quickly and improve usability.
Everything you design should feel simple, fast, and natural - never confusing, never overdesigned.
Job Requirements
You are a product thinker first, designer second. You can take unclear ideas and structure them into simple, usable flows. You are comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly without overthinking.
You focus on clarity and usability over visual perfection. You care about whether the user understands the product instantly, not whether it just looks good.
Past Experience
You have worked on consumer-facing products where user experience matters. Ideally, you have experience in social, gaming, or interactive platforms.
Your portfolio shows how you think through problems, simplify complexity, and improve usability - not just visual design.
Ideal Candidate
You think in flows, not screens. You naturally remove friction and simplify decisions. You are fast, practical, and comfortable working in an early-stage environment.
You are not overly attached to your designs, but you have strong judgment on what works and what doesn’t. You are comfortable working closely with a founder and shaping a product from the ground up.
What This Role Is Not
This is not a visual-only design role. It is not slow, process-heavy, or focused on pixel perfection. The goal is not to make things look good - it is to make things work effortlessly.
Success Metrics
Success means users understand the product quickly and use it without friction. This shows up in strong onboarding completion, fast time to first action, and low drop-offs across key flows. More importantly, the product should feel intuitive and enjoyable to use.
Why This Role Matters
You will be defining how users experience ChooseMe from day one. This is a foundational role with full ownership of the product experience.
